台鐵各機務段機動車輛配置情形

已報廢的DH210柴液式機車,花蓮機廠。該型車原有12輛(LDH201-212),為臺東線鐵路內燃化自日本車輛(19689製造)購入,1982年6月輪距改為1067mm時改為DH200型,並分配至各機務段調車之用,亦曾牽引過淡水線列車。最高車速:70km/h。1986年後陸續報廢。

甫運抵苗栗準備展示的東線762mm軌距柴液式機車LDH101。該車係臺鐵花蓮修理廠1970年以備份的Cummins柴油引擎及轉向架等製造,原為762mm輪距,東拓後改為1067mm。最高車速:60km/h。原於1982年東拓後停用,1985年被送往澎湖縣馬公市的文化中心展示;因海風侵蝕嚴重損毀,旋於1999年10月21日經安平港運返臺北機廠整修,隨後被保存於苗栗鐵道公園。

第一批原保存於澎湖縣馬公市的舊窄軌臺東線的火車,於1999年10月20日抵達臺南安平港,首批車輛為LDR2201、LTP1813,於當日晚間送至臺北機廠進行修復;第二批車輛LDK58及LDH101於次日上午抵達安平港碼頭,並於下午進行卸載,正式向保存鐵道文化財邁出第一步。

新購自日本的新潟鐵工廠DHL100型柴液式機車,用以取代S300型柴電機車等。

S200型,1960年(S201~S212)美國GM-EMD製,計12輛。原廠型式GL8U6。引擎:8-567C(GM-576CR-8)8缸柴油引擎。輪配置:A1A-A1A,軔機系統27LA,馬力950hp/835rpm,動輪直徑1,016mm,齒數比63:14,牽引力9,900kgf,車重65噸,最高車速:100km/h。報廢車:S208、S211。

S300型,1966年(S301~S321)美國GM-EMD製,計21輛。原廠型式:GA8。引擎:8-567E(GM-576E-8)8缸柴油引擎。輪配置:Bo-Bo,軔機系統26L,馬力850hp/835rpm,車重54噸,動輪直徑838mm,齒數比5.55,牽引力9,700kgf,最高車速:75km/h。S316與S318於2006年底時仍在籍。

S401牽引煤運列車往深澳火力發電廠,八斗子站。深澳線的貨物列車使用S400或DHL100型牽引,牽引重量約為360噸,貨車(含守車)車廂節數約為10∼25節。

展示於苗栗鐵道公園的R6(其實是R1)。1960年日立製,原有12輛(R1~R12),裝設德系MAN-V6V型引擎,其中R1、R4、R5、R6、R8、R10、R12於1971~1976年分別改裝為美國GM-645E引擎。軔機系統6SL,馬力1,650hp,車重84.5噸,牽引力14,700kgf,動輪直徑1,016mm,齒數比63:14,最高車速:100km/h。

R20/R50型,1960年(R21~R50)1966年(R51~R72)美國GM-EMD製。原廠型式:G12U6,引擎:R21~R50為12-567C、R51~R72為12-567E(GM-567-12)立式V型12缸二行程柴油引擎。功率:1310hp/1425hp。輪配置:A1A-A1A,採電力軔機系統,馬力1,420hp/900rpm,車重78噸,牽引力14,600kgf,動輪直徑1,016mm,齒數比63:14,最高車速:100km/h。原有52輛,2006年底時有44輛;R25、R29、R39、R53報廢,R56、R57、R58、R59於2006年贈予馬拉威共和國。
